In June of 1972 Title IX was enacted into law, requiring fair and equal monetary treatment of the sexes in all areas, including athletics.?This June will mark the 50 year anniversary of Title IX, a milestone close to our hearts at Boathouse Sports. With 84% of the Boathouse workforce being comprised of women, along with the brand??s special interest in the sporting community, it was only fitting that we do something to honor this anniversary and the longstanding impact it has had on women in sports.?

With this in mind, Boathouse Sports has launched a limited edition Title IX Tailwind hoodie as a demonstration of its stance on equal rights and opportunities for all. 10% of all proceeds of the Title IX Tailwind will be donated to the?Women Leaders in College Sports Foundation, supporting the Pioli Family Endowed HBCU Scholarship, to?further empower women working in sports and provides career and leadership training, access to a powerful network, and the resources to advance women at every stage of their careers. Women Leaders is actively re-shaping the leadership landscape by elevating the women leaders of today and cultivating the women leaders of tomorrow.?

The Pioli Fund was created to support Women Leaders?? commitment to the access, inclusion, advancement, and retention of women of color in college sports and beyond.?
